Miniballers (Pre-K)
Miniballers runs on Saturday mornings only, starting in January, and is intended to be a fun and simple intro to basketball for our youngest players.
Kindergarten
This program runs on Saturdays only, starting in December. Focus is on fun and keeping it basic, while introducing concepts of team play.
1st-2nd Grade
Twice per week, Saturdays and one weeknight practice. Players are separated into boys and girls divisions. Focus turns to skill development and playing games.
3rd/4th Grade
1-2 practices per week, and games on Saturdays. At this level, players will be placed on teams and play a regular schedule of games. This program combines Ayer and Shirley participants. Boys and Girls are separated into divisions. There will be a scheduled evaluation date where coaches will evaluate players to form balanced teams. Teams will be a mix of Ayer/Shirley players.
5th-8th Grade
Two practices per week, and games on Saturdays. At this level, players will be placed on teams and play a regular schedule of games with some travel to TAP gym locations. This program combines Ayer and Shirley participants. Boys and Girls are separated into divisions. There will be a scheduled evaluation date where coaches will evaluate players to form balanced teams. Teams will be a mix of Ayer/Shirley players.
